Salary contributions

With your permission, your country of origin, monthly cash salary, company industry, job function, role and selected employer-provided benefits appear in the public explorer. Your email is not requested for salary submission. A private browser identifier links the submission to this browser so you can see comparisons and withdraw it. Withdrawal removes those reported fields but keeps the response marker to prevent another contribution from the same browser.

Age, undergraduate graduation year and job comments are optional. New submissions with the updated publication consent display these details publicly alongside the salary. Details submitted under the earlier private-fields consent remain private. Your name is not collected, but combinations of details may identify you. Please do not include identifying or confidential details in comments. Withdrawing your salary also clears these optional details.

Spam prevention

We use a necessary, HTTP-only browser cookie, server-side submission counters, form checks and connection-based rate limits. IP addresses are transformed using a secret-key hash for rate limiting; raw IP addresses are not stored in these application tables. Infrastructure providers may maintain their own operational logs. Rate-limit counters expire and are periodically removed. Browser records expire after one year; the salary response marker is retained.

These checks reduce abuse but cannot guarantee one entry per person. Shared networks may encounter limits, and clearing browser data removes your ability to manage a salary contribution from that browser. Legacy entries submitted through the earlier account-based version remain in the dataset.

Careers Network profiles

Joining the network saves your email, name, career summary, role, career level, industry, country, area, nationality, region, interests and networking preferences in our private database. We are collecting profiles only. We do not currently match people, send networking emails or share profiles with other members. Joining does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Your email is not verified at this stage. We will ask for confirmation and permission before any future introductions or sharing with members. Profiles outside Qatar are accepted for future planning but will not enter Qatar introductions.

One profile is accepted per email address. Existing profiles cannot be overwritten by entering the same email. You can remove a profile using the same browser that submitted it. We retain profiles until you remove them or the service is discontinued. Browser and connection limits reduce duplicate submissions but cannot guarantee one profile per person.

Newsletter and report

The report form collects your name, email, location, gender response, industry, experience and employment status. “Prefer not to say” is available for gender. Newsletter consent is required for the report; salary and networking submissions do not subscribe you. WhatsApp interest is optional and requires a phone number only if selected. A community invitation service is not yet connected.

The report unlocks with a necessary, HTTP-only cookie for one hour. Your private unsubscribe link lets you stop updates or delete that newsletter record. Deletion revokes the report download. Keep the link.

Storage and access

Records are stored in the site’s Cloudflare-hosted database, accessible to the site operator. Only salary fields explicitly approved for publication appear publicly. Contact details, networking profiles, confirmation tokens and abuse-prevention identifiers are not a public directory. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
